This is about my brother, Dylan, and my sister in-law, Celine.
Dylan has been in my life for the past 29 years, with Celine by his side probably almost for a decade. I love them to bits! They have been an inspiration and a blessing in every way possible.
This month, they are expecting their first child and my niece to be, Clara. From the very moment they announced their pregnancy, they made every effort and care to keep us involved. From Celine's visits to the clinics and hospitals for check-ups, to even the amazing kicks I got to feel from Clara when I placed my hand on Celine's belly. Their pregnancy made me feel even closer to them than I ever was as our relationships grew stronger.
I'm truly grateful and blessed to have been given the opportunity to be their photographer to capture some of their moments during their pregnancy. They have shown me light through their love and dedication to Clara through these dark times (the lingering pandemic and all sorts of noise happening around the world).
All the photographs I captured for them speaks volumes and just being there to witness their moment of starting a family has left me inspired and humbled. This is almost like a dream to me, to be given the opportunity to be part of a life changing moment, what more a moment where new life will be entering the world.
With that, I have decided to pursue a career in wedding photography. But not just focusing on weddings, but capturing moments for couples and family. Dylan and Celine have truly inspired me to use my art and my passion to capture beautiful moments like theirs. I don't think I have ever been this sure into pursuing something (other than my fianceé, haha).
If you have gotten this far into this blog post, thank you for reading and for spending your precious time in reading my inspirational story about my brother and sister in-law. If you're looking for a photographer for your wedding, someone who will put you first, then send me a DM and we can discuss further on how to capture your special day the way you want it. Here are some of my other favourite photos I shot of Dylan and Celine last month.
